Fethiye has one of the biggest open air market of the city. Tuesday market is well know with all Fethiye lovers and visitors. It s one of the top tourist attraction of the town. There are sellers from all the neighbour town and villages selling their home made or organic products.
You can find textile products, fresh vegetables and fruits, leather, silver, souvenirs, spices and more in the market. Its the local peoples shopping market not designed for tourists so feel free to taste everything and do shopping. Prices are not tourist prices but local people prices.
We will also take you to one of the biggest gold centre of the town. You don’t have to buy anything but we would like to show you our gold products and the gold industry. You can watch people making rings and jewelry and will be amazed with their hand skills and modern artistic designs.
Before we head to Kayakoy or also known as Ghost Town we will stop on a few different points to give you more idea about Turkey, culture and our taste.
Kayakoy (Rock Village in English) also known as Ghost Town is our second part of the trip. The village was abandoned during the Turk – Greek war and the population exchange agreement was signed by the Turkish and Greek governments in 1923 which forced all the citizens to move to Greece and Turks settled in the town.
We will tour in the Kayakoy historical town and head back to our hotels/resorts.
